ASTRaZENECA

At AstraZeneca, we believe it’s not enough for us to simply make medicines. We have to make sure that the people who need those medicines can get them. It’s why we’ve offered patient assistance programs for over 30 years.  The AstraZeneca Access 360 program provides personal support to help streamline access and reimbursement for select AstraZeneca medicines. Access 360 provides:  

  • Assistance with understanding patient insurance coverage and pharmacy options
  • Prior authorization support
  • Claims and appeal process support

    GeNENTECH

    Genentech is dedicated to helping patients. Since Genentech started providing access and reimbursement support almost 20 years ago, Genentech has helped more than 2 million patients access the medicines they need.

    Patient Assistance Programs via Genentech Access Solutions include:
    • Genentech BioOncology Co-Pay Card - The Genentech BioOncology Co-Pay Card is for commercially insured patients receiving treatment with a Genentech BioOncology product that meet certain eligibility criteria. There are no income requirements. The Annual Benefit limit of the Co-Pay Card is $25,000. Patient pays a $5 co-pay per prescription or infusion.
    • Co-Pay Assistance Foundations - If privately or publicly insured patients have difficulty paying their co-pay, co-insurance or other expenses, Genentech Access Solutions can refer them to a co-pay assistance foundation supporting their disease.
    • Genentech Patient Foundation - The Genentech Patient Foundation was established to help patients with unmet medical needs who are uninsured or rendered uninsured by payer denial and who meet specific criteria to receive their prescription free of charge.

      The CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 2007 to address the needs of individuals who cannot afford their insurance co-payments to cover the cost of medications for treating cancer. More information.

      Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) 

      They created the Medicine Assistance Tool (MAT) to provide a dedicated search engine that allows users to search for financial assistance resources available to them, their loved ones or patients in their lives through the various biopharmaceutical industry programs available for patients who are eligible.  More information. 

      PAN Foundation

      The Patient Access Network (PAN) Foundation is an independent, national 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to helping federally and commercially insured people living with life-threatening, chronic and rare diseases with the out-of-pocket costs for their prescribed medications. Partnering with generous donors, healthcare providers and pharmacies, PAN provides the underinsured population access to the healthcare treatments they need to best manage their conditions and focus on improving their quality of life.       PAF Co-Pay Relief Program

      The Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) Co-Pay Relief Program (CPR) currently provides direct financial support to insured patients, including Medicare Part D beneficiaries, who must financially and medically qualify to access pharmaceutical co-payment assistance. The program offers personal service to all patients through the use of call counselors; personally guiding patients through the enrollment process. More information.

      Patient Services Incorporated

      PSI is the "ground breaking" 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization of its kind.  For nearly two decades, PSI has helped people who live with certain chronic illnesses or conditions locate suitable health insurance coverage and access ways to satisfy expensive co-payments.  PSI provides assistance with the cost of health insurance premiums associated with COBRAs, State High Risk Pools, Open enrollment,  Guaranteed Issue policies, HIPAA conversion policies; and prescriptions co-payments associated with private insurance as well as with Medicare Parts B and D.
